Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 June 2026

RevQuote (“RevQuote”, “we”, “us” or “our”) provides instant-quoting software for custom motorcycle workshops. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, hold, disclose and protect your personal information when you use our website at www.revquote.app and our related services (together, the “Service”).

We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Who this policy applies to

RevQuote serves two groups of people, and we treat their information differently:

  • Workshop users — the workshops and their staff who sign up for a RevQuote account to create and manage quotes.
  • Customers — members of the public who request a quote through a workshop's RevQuote-powered quoting page. In this case the workshop is the primary party responsible for that information, and RevQuote processes it on the workshop's behalf.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide directly

  • Account details — name, email address, business name, and password (stored only in hashed form).
  • Workshop settings — business details, trading days, services offered and pricing you configure.
  • Quote request details — information entered to request or generate a quote, such as contact details, the motorcycle/job details, and preferred drop-off date.
  • Communications — messages you send us by email or through the Service.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage and device data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps.
  • Cookies — used to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. See section 7.

Information from third parties

  • Facebook Login — if you choose to sign in with Facebook, Meta provides us with your name, email address and profile identifier as authorised by you. We do not post to Facebook and do not access your friends list or other profile data beyond what is needed to create and authenticate your account.

3. How we use your information

  • To create and administer your account and authenticate sign-in.
  • To provide the quoting functionality, including generating, sending and managing quotes.
  • To process deposit payments where a workshop has enabled this.
  • To send transactional and service emails (for example, quote confirmations and account notices).
  • To maintain, secure, troubleshoot and improve the Service.
  • To comply with our legal obligations.

4. Service providers we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted providers who help us operate the Service, and only to the extent needed:

  • Supabase — database, authentication and secure data storage.
  • Vercel — website and application hosting.
  • Stripe — payment processing for deposits (card details are handled by Stripe, not stored by us).
  • Resend — sending transactional and service emails.
  • Meta Platforms — Facebook Login authentication, where you choose to use it.

Some of these providers may store or process data outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure they protect your information consistently with the APPs.

5. Payments

When a deposit payment is made, card and payment details are collected and processed directly by Stripe under Stripe's own privacy terms. RevQuote does not store full card numbers. We retain a record of the transaction (such as amount, status and reference) to operate the Service.

6. How we store and protect your information

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and restricted, role-based access to sensitive data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary to operate the Service, such as keeping you signed in. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the Service from working.

8. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and afterwards only as required to meet legal, accounting or reporting obligations or to resolve disputes. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

9. Your rights

Under the APPs you may:

  • request access to the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete;
  • request deletion of your account and associated personal information, subject to our legal retention obligations;
  • withdraw consent to Facebook Login by disconnecting RevQuote from your Facebook account settings.

Data deletion requests. To delete your account and personal data, email us at privacy@revquote.app with the subject “Data deletion request”. We will action verified requests within 30 days.

10. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.

11. Third-party links

The Service may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to read their policies.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
